Governing bodies of the APPRM are:

 

  • the Assembly;
  • the Executive Board; and
  • the President

 

The Assembly

The Assembly is composed from the representatives of subsidiaries. Every public prosecutors office with five or less than five members have one representative, and the public prosecutors offices with more than five members have right for one representative for every five members. The Assembly of the APPRM regularly convenes once a year, and the Executive Board determines the place and time of the session. The Assembly is convened and conducted by the President of the APPRM. The Assembly may work legally if more than half of the representatives from the subsidiaries are present. The Assembly of the APPRM shall make its Decisions with public voting with possibility in certain circumstances for specific issues to decide with secret voting. The Decision shall be legally valid if majority of the present representatives have voted for it. The Assembly:

 

•  enacts Statute and decides for their amendments and supplements

•  enacts Code on Ethics of the Public Prosecutors

•  enacts programs, rule book and other acts and decides for their amendments and supplements

•  adopts annual report, directions and working plan

•  adopts final account and financial plan

•  decides for amendment of goals of the association

•  decides on merging and disassociation from other association and enrolment into international associations and alliances

•  decides for acceptance of new members and cessation of membership

•  elects President, Vice – President and Members of the Executive Board

•  decides for cessation of the association

•  decides for honorary members of the association

•  decides upon complaints and objections on Decisions of the Executive Board

•  decides for other issues according to the provisions of this Statute.

 

The Executive Board

The Executive Board of the APPRM is composed of 13 Members. The President, Vice – President and Secretary of the APPRM according to their function they are President, Vice – Presidents and Secretary of the Executive Board. The Executive Board from its Members elects Secretary and Treasurer. Mandate of the President, Secretary, Cashier and Members of the Executive Board is three years with possibility on another re-election. The executive board:

 

•  enforces Decisions of the Assembly of the APPRM

•  enacts book of rules on its operation

•  makes preparations of sessions of the Assembly of the APPRM

•  decides on the amount and manner of membership fee payment.

•  manages with the property of the association and is responsible for it

•  proposes election of honorary members of the APPRM to the Assembly

•  approves the final account and financial plan upon proposal of the Secretary

•  establishes expert service of the association and controls their work

- proposes enactment, amendments and supplements of the Statute of the APPRM

- proposes program, rule book for work of the Assembly and other acts their amendments and supplements

- establishes commissions and auxiliary bodies with permanent or temporary nature in relation with the accomplishment of the aims and tasks of the association

- elects and relives of duty chief-responsible editor, as well as members of the editorial board of the information bulletin and expert review

•  performs other activities according to the provisions of this Statute .

 

President and Secretary

President

The President of the APPRM is elected by the Assembly of the APPRM.The President of the APPRM shall have mandate of three years with right on another re-election. The President of the APPRM:

 

•  represents the association

•  conducts the sessions of the Assembly

•  signs the acts and decisions of APPRM

•  performs other activities upon authorization of the Assembly, Executive Board and the provisions of this Statute.

 

Secretary

 

 

The Secretary of the APPRM is elected from the Members of the Executive Board. Mandate of the Secretary of the APPRM shall be three years with right on another re-election. The Secretary of APPRM:

 

•  co-ordinates the work of the Executive Board

 

•  participates in preparation of the work of the Assembly and sessions of the Executive Board

 

•  prepares and proposes final account and financial plan of the association

 

•  takes care on the documentation of the APPRM and everyday correspondence

 

•  performs other activities upon authorization of the Assembly, Executive Board and the provisions of this Statute.

 

Commissions

In the APPRM are working the following commissions:

•  Commission for education

•  Commission for relations with NGO

•  Statutory commission

•  Commission for international relations

•  Commission for education of legal assistants
